Assistance programs:
CareFirst for CF:This program is open to all children under three with cystic fibrosis in the US and Puerto Rico. It offers free Ultrase® / Ultrase® MT, ADEKs, an educational booklet, and a diaper bag. Call Axcan at 866-292-2679 to enroll.
Comprehensive Care Program for CF: This program is open to all cystic fibrosis patients in the US and Puerto Rico who take Ultrase® or Ultrase® MT. It offers a $20 rebate on Ultrase® / Ultrase®MT, free Scandishake®or Scandical®, free AquADEKs, a certificate for a free Flutter® device and an educational booklet. Genentech, the manufacturer of Pulmozyme®, offers a program called Pulmozyme® Access Solutions that provides individualized assistance to help CF patients get Pulmozyme® regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. This program is open to anybody who takes Pulmozyme®. To get started, call the Access Solutions Support Line at (800) 690-3023, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. PST.
Digesitve Care, Inc. (DCI), manufacturer of the commonly prescribed enzyme Pancreacarb®, offers four different assistance programs. Visit the DCI website to learn how to enroll.
Healthy Start Program: Provides free Pancreacarb to children with cystic fibrosis until they reach three years of age.
Nutritional Rebate Program: Receive a rebate of up to $25 per month on vitamins and nutrition supplements with your Pancreacarb prescription.
Pancreacarb® Starter Program: This program offers a free bottle of 100 capsules of Pancreacarb® MS-4, Pancreacarb® MS-8, or Pancreacarb® MS-16 to newly diagnosed cystic fibrosis patients with a prescription for Pancreacarb®.
The Assistance Program: DCI also offers an assistance program for people who have no insurance. The program offers assistance on a case-by-case basis and referral must come from a physician. Your physician should submit a request in writing to:

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) helps low-income uninsured patients get free or reduced cost prescriptions. Search results provide brief details and contact information for the requested medication assistance program, but RxAssist does not provide assistance with the application process.
